Description
*️⃣ Social media is one of the few places where libraries can reach new cardholders and target and engage current library users. But algorithms make success tricky for most libraries. Your organization, whether public, private, or academic, can transcend those changing rules by centering your social media promotions on strategy and implementing best practices that will hold no matter what changes are made to platform algorithms.
*️⃣ This course is for any library employee who works with social media for their organizations or anyone who wants to use social media to further their organization’s overall goals. In this course, you’ll learn how to match your promotional goals with the available audience on each of the social media platforms. You'll also learn how to determine which kind of content works best on the platforms and how to find the latest information on best practices for ever-changing social media algorithms. Finally, you'll get guidance for handling negative comments and using social media to form a lasting relationship with your community.
This course will take the average learner about 4 hours total to complete. Group rates are available:
20% off for 3-25 seats
