Identify current trends in popular genres and tools you can use to keep up with future trends.
This course will take the average learner about 2 hours in total to complete.

*️⃣ About the Course Instructors:
Yaika Sabat (MLS) comes from a background in public libraries and is now the Manager of Reader Services at NoveList, where she works on reader-focused services and trains library staff nationwide on recommending books. As a Horror Writers Association’s Library Advisory Council member, she works to help librarians understand and embrace the horror genre. She is passionate about diverse representation in books and media and is always open to trying a new genre. Her other interests include writing, graphic novels, folklore, and baking.
April Mazza (MLS) is a Learning Engagement Specialist at NoveList. She previously worked in public, school, and special library settings and has reviewed youth materials for professional journals. As a kid, April loved reading folk and fairy tales. Today you’ll find her reading all sorts of genres, especially if they are moving, culturally diverse, or illustrated.
