Core Collections helps you build and maintain your collection with confidence. This private session will teach your library or consortia staff key features and search strategies they can use to help you make informed decisions on which books your library should buy, retain, or weed.

Learning Outcomes:
• Discovering the key features of Core Collections and the tools accessed from the database homepage.
• Using basic search techniques to find books and reviews.
• Using advanced search techniques to perform complex searches to drill down for specific results.
• Understanding field codes and how they can be used to quickly perform complex searches from the basic search bar.

Training lasts one hour. Learners must have access to Core Collections to participate. Training must be purchased by the institution.
